今日からカナダＧＰです。今年はアロンソ初優勝の期待がかかりますね。今年のアロンソは今まで勝ったことのないＧＰを勝っています（モナコ、スペインなど）ので、ここカナダも期待大ですね。完走率の高さは驚異的ですから今年のＦ１はほぼアロンソで間違いないかもしれません。このまま全てのレースで２位になればシューマッハの逆転はないのですから。 さて話は遡って、カナダＧＰといえば１９８９年が思い出されます。そうですあの伝説となった、Ｇ．ビルニューブがＦ１初勝利をあげたＧＰです。地元で初優勝ですからそのときの喜びはすごかったのではないかと思います。  前年の日本ＧＰでは、空を飛んだ（Ｒ．ペテルソンと絡んで）ドライバーとして有名になってしまい、フェラーリも高い買い物をしたと陰口をたたかれていましたから。 この年は、ロータス７９が絶好調で、その対抗としてフェラーリ３１２Ｔ３（？）という関係でしたが、ビルニューブは３輪走行（この年のオランダＧＰだったと思います）など話題満載の走りで、たくさんのファンをつかんだ事実上のデビューイヤーでした。 初優勝のトロフィーは軽かった！  |

そうですね、ビルニューブって結構荒っぽいドライバーとの印象がありますが、すごくフェアなドライバーでしたね。また規律も重んじていたような気がします。 |
